Metacorp LLC is pleased to announce its status as a Certified Receivables Business (CRB) through Receivables Management Association International (RMAI), a leading trade association in the accounts receivable industry. This earned certification demonstrates our commitment to compliance and operational excellence and our open door to 3rd party audit as required for certification. Our clients depend on us to safeguard brand identity and integrity, and we make it our mission to consistently exceed those expectations.
“Our CRB status means several things. For one, I have earned Certified Receivables Compliance Professional certification as required for Chief Compliance Officers of CRB companies. It also means we have developed our processes and procedures in such a way that we meet the standards set forth by RMAI, which often exceed and fill in the gaps of legal requirements. So our account documentation, chains of title, complaint and dispute resolution processes, statute of limitation compliance, vendor management, credit bureau reporting, resale, and other operational procedures have all been through the scrutinous review process involved in both our self-audit and a full external 3rd party audit to achieve this certification. We’re proud of this accomplishment and appreciative of the certification program and the impact it has had on our company,” shared Rodney Giove, Chief Compliance Officer and Legal Counsel for Metacorp.
The RMAI certification program offers professional designations to individuals, debt buyers, brokers, creditors, collection agencies, collection law firms, and vendors within the accounts receivable management industry. It is considered the “gold standard” within the industry because of the requirements and the ongoing accountability which is required for certification. It provides the industry a mechanism for self-regulatory compliance measurement and a quantifiable symbol for business partners to recognize that we do business with a consumer-centric and compliance-focused experience throughout the account lifecycle.
According to RMAI, the certification audit process is designed to provide 3 “distinct compliance audits to ensure multiple and varied opportunities exist to verify compliance.” The certification program began in 2013 with a mission to “provide enhanced consumer protections through rigorous and uniform industry standards of best practice” and has been continually evolving and growing since that time. There are currently around 150 businesses of various types and sizes within the industry that have achieved CRB certification.
