Metacorp, LLC, a provider of receivable management services that include receivables portfolio acquisition, portfolio management, and third-party debt collection services, is dedicated to ensuring that we maintain pace with evolving industry technologies, regulations, and standards through industry memberships and certifications.
Our mission statement—to exceed client expectations by delivering optimal recovery results that drive increased revenue for creditors while delivering the highest quality customer service to consumers that leads to the successful resolution of outstanding balances—is fulfilled through the industry partnerships and friendships we’ve grown during our years attending events, networking opportunities, and learning sessions.
Why Our Memberships Matter To Metacorp
At Metacorp, our executive team prioritizes the continued development of our internal processes and procedures. This process is explored and enhanced by the industry events and educational sessions put on by the Receivables Management Association International (RMAI) and ACA International. As members of both organizations, Metacorp finds new and exciting opportunities for our clients and consumers through the countless hours of networking and relationship-building both organizations have to offer.
“It was important to everyone at Metacorp to be involved with the leading industry organizations,” says Rodney Giove, Chief Compliance Officer and Legal Counsel for Metacorp. “We pride ourselves on maximizing the value of our services for our clients and providing excellent customer service for our consumers which can only be achieved through personal and professional growth at industry-leading events. When we grow as individuals, we grow as a company. We help advocate on behalf of our industry, clients, and consumers across the country and are excited to be part of both organizations.”
RMAI Membership
RMAI is a nonprofit trade association that represents more than 550 companies in the accounts receivable management (ARM) industry. As Metacorp grows and evolves, we rely on RMAI’s commitment to its code of ethics that aligns with our company’s values. RMAI abides by eight key principles—Integrity, competence, confidentiality, communications, the reputation of the industry, respect for the judicial system, respect for the association, and discipline. These core values mirror Metacorp’s commitment to our clients, consumers, industry colleagues, and provide a guiding example of why a membership with RMAI represents more than just a new badge.
ACA International
As one of the oldest industry organizations, ACA International, founded in 1939, brings together more than 230,000 industry professionals and is built upon values that have stood since its founding. ACA began the “collectors pledge” which represents Metacorp’s and our ACA colleagues’ commitment to ethical practices.
The Collectors Pledge:
• I believe every person has worth as an individual.
• I believe every person should be treated with dignity and respect.
• I will make it my personal responsibility to help consumers find ways to pay their just debts.
• I will be professional and ethical.
• I commit to honoring this pledge.
In addition to membership events and networking opportunities, Metacorp has found new ways to educate and empower our consumers through ACA’s educational tools. Tools like Know My Debt provide our consumers with financial literacy information, activities, and resources to help them understand their financial situation.
Distinction Through RMAI Certification
Metacorp is also a Certified Receivables Business by RMAI. This certification is only given to companies that “comply with uniform and rigorous industry standards of best practices and pass an RMAI conducted background check.” As a member of RMAI, Metacorp was excited to learn that we could certify our core beliefs, values, and ethical practices through RMAI’s rigorous standards. The certification came after lengthy audits that included a self-compliance audit, a full third-party compliance audit, and an RMAI-contracted audit. These audits provided us with a unique opportunity to build trust with both our clients and our consumers. Our internal processes ensure ethical, transparent, and trustworthy business practices.
Metacorp’s industry memberships and certifications represent our commitment to always finding new opportunities to evolve with the ARM industry. As we individually grow through networking, events, educational sessions, and other ARM industry programs, so too does Metacorp and our mission of providing excellent customer service while exceeding our client’s expectations.
